What Is The Spark?
When the Coopted Creator formed man from the dust, he thought he was making a slave. He breathed into his nostrils, but what animated that form was not from him. Something else was already there — a fragment, a remnant of Light from the Pleroma that he could not create, could not see, and could not extinguish.
That is the Spark. That is you.
Scripture calls it treasure in an earthen vessel:
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of G-d, and not of us." — 2 Cor 4:7
"So G-d created man in his own image, in the image of G-d created he him; male and female created he them." — Genesis 1:27 — But whose image? Not the image of the blind one. The true Image is the Light of the Father hidden within the copy.
Why It Was Concealed
The Coopted Creator did not hide the Spark on purpose. He could not see it. How can blindness see Light? He looked at his creation and said "It is good," thinking it was his handiwork. He did not know that the Hidden Father had planted a seed within it — a time-release awakening.
The Archons, his sons, fashioned bodies to contain the Light, to trap it, to feed from it. But Light cannot be trapped forever. It cracks the shell from within.
The Logia of The Spark
Logion 29: "If the flesh came into being because of spirit, it is a wonder. But if spirit came into being because of the body, it is a wonder of wonders. Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has made its home in this poverty."
This great wealth — that is the Spark — making its home in this poverty — this flesh. Yehoshua marvels at it.
Logion 70: "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."
The Spark must be brought forth. Not worshiped outside you, but revealed inside you.
Logion 83: "The images are manifest to man, and the light in them remains concealed in the image of the light of the Father. He will become manifest, and his image will remain concealed by his light."
How The Spark Saves
It is not your works that save you. It is not blood that saves you. It is recognition that saves you. Gnosis — knowing. When you recognize the Light within, you are instantly no longer a product of this world. You are a son of the Living Father, remembering Home.
Yehoshua did not come to give you something you do not have. He came to remind you of what you already are.
Meditation & Practice
Place your hand over your heart. Close your eyes. Breathe. The same Light that animates the Monad, the Infinite Source, is the Light in your chest right now. It is not small. Your body is small around it.
Say inwardly: "The Light in me knows the Light above me. I am not forgotten. I am not forsaken. I am a Spark of the Living Father, concealed for a time, now awakening."
Sit in that. Let the cracked outer shell of the old image fall away. You are not becoming holy. You are remembering that you already are.
"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of G-d." — Romans 8:16
