There was One who came not to found an institution, religion or set traditions, but rather to break the spell of forgetfulness.
The archons of his day and ours, want a G-d far away, in the sky, in the sea, in a temple made by hands. So that you will look everywhere except where the Light actually lives.
The Revealer knew this. And so his first revelation was one of location.
"If those who lead you say to you, 'Look, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you and it is outside of you." - Gospel of Thomas, Logion 3. This is not metaphor. This is cosmology. The Kingdom is not a reward after death. It is a present reality, both within and without, because the inner and outer are one continuum of Light.
And why did they hide this Gospel in a jar in the desert near Nag Hammadi in 1945? Because it reveals what religion cannot control: That you carry the Kingdom.
The second revelation was about identity. The Revealer said: "Whatever you have asked, believe that you have already received it, and it will be yours."
The institutional mind hears that as arrogance. The Gnostic hears it as physics.
For what you call reality is not fixed. It conforms to what you hold as Truth in the inner chamber. When you pray as a beggar, you confess lack, and lack solidifies. When you pray as a Rememberer, you align.
Thomas again gives us the key: "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." - Gospel of Thomas, Logion 70
What is within you? Not sin. Not separation. What is within you is the spark.
The Apocryphon of John, the secret revelation given to John, declares that humanity contains a divine spark of the heavenly Light world, the Pleroma, trapped in matter. It is not that you have a spark of God. In your truest nature, you are a portion of that Light, fallen into forgetfulness.
"I am the light that exists within all light. I am the remembrance of the Pleroma, bringing the spark of the divine to those who dwell in forgetfulness." — Apocryphon of John
This is why The Revealer says faith is not belief.
Belief is the effort of the psyche trying to convince itself. Faith or Pistis, is alignment. It is the spark remembering its origin and vibrating again at the frequency of the Fullness.
And what happens in that alignment?
The Gospel of Philip tells us plainly, in a passage the orthodox could never preach: "You saw the Spirit, you became Spirit. You saw Christ, you became Christ. You saw the Father, you shall become Father."
Do you see it? You do not become by striving. You become by seeing, by perceiving and recognizing your true kinship. As you behold the Divine, you remember you are of that same substance. "You saw the Spirit, and you became spirit. You saw Christ and you became Christ. You saw the Father and you shall become Father. This is the Path of the Way which Jesus taught.
So, in this place you see everything and do not see yourself; but in that place you do see yourself, and what you see you shall become." This is the end of internal struggle. Vacillation of direction can only exist when you think you are two things. When you think you are flesh fighting for spirit, or a sinner fighting for holiness.
But when you remember, the two become one.
"When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below… then will you enter [the kingdom]." Gospel of Thomas, Logion 22
In that oneness, there is equilibrium. Not a peace you manufacture, but a peace that is your nature. The awakened Light within holds steady while the illusionary chaos of the world swirls around it, because it knows the chaos has no root. So do not ask as one who lacks.
Sit in the bridal chamber of your own heart. Remember the Pleroma from which you came. Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, for in the realm of Light, it is already accomplished. Believe that you have already received, because the Anointed portion within you already has.
Stilled in peace amid the chaos, watch as the outer world, which is only shadow, must rearrange itself to bear witness to the Truth you have finally chosen to hold within. May your light beacon others in cause of having eyes to see… their own remembrance,
